General eligibility

1. Applicant must be in employment. If a business owner, the criteria for qualifying for business loans will apply
2. Salaried workers should be permanent with their employers and should have served their probation
3. Must be working within institutional catchment area.
4. Last pay slip
5. Bank statement for 3 months showing payment of salaries
6. Post dated cheques for loan repayment
7. Company identity card
8. A national identity card

Mainly for the payment of school fees

1. Applies to any income earner who qualifies for a loan from ESLCL
2. Evidence of fees amount from school must be provided
3. An admission letter or its equivalence showing studentship of applicant or beneficiary must be provided
4. A minimum of one guarantor with income 100% of installment for loans above GH¢ 1,000 is required, otherwise must only be in employment
5. Loan maturity will range between 1 month – 12 months
6. Loan amount should not exceed GH¢ 10,000
