DEPOSIT MOBILIZER (DM)

JOB FUNCTION

Will work in a team with direct responsibility to promote Express deposit products, service and aggressive cash mobilization for respective branch assigned to at all times through the following stated deliverables enumerated below. The deposit mobilizer will work under deposit mobilization unit based at head office with immediate reporting line at branch to deposit coordinator and general branch supervision from branch supervisor.

DELIVERABLES

1. Acquire deposit customers through the sale of institution/branch’s liability products (savings & current accounts, cheque & savings withdrawal books, ATM cards and all other retail products) through field visits/telesales and follow up on sales leads.
   
   
2. Manage and ensure high balance in customers account at all times through active cash collection activity within the week/month
   
   
3. Prepare daily and weekly report on accounts promotion and deposit collection
   
   
4. Acquire new deposit business within branch catchments area
   
   
5. Verify and ensure that customers present all the required documents as per the product specifications on the field or banking hall
   
   
6. Forward customer applications to deposit coordinator or customer service officer for processing
   
   
7. Ensure safe custody of customer’s documents with care prior to account opening proces
   
   
8.  Inform and advise customers on every stage of their account opening process at the right time
   
   
9. Manage customer expectations and objections on the field and refer to the appropriate office for redress where necessary
   
   
10. Receive customer complaints and refer to appropriate office for redress through team coordinator or branch supervisor
    
    
11. Collect market competitor information from the field as and when required by team leader, branch head or head office
    
    
12. Ensure firsthand safety of materials and tools assigned to for accounts opening process and deposit mobilization whiles on the field and when at the branch.

REQUIREMENT

1. Applicant must have at least 6 months selling experience in any field
   
   
2. Should be able to sell financial products to micro entrepreneurs and petty traders in the market
   
   
3. Must be willing to work for longer hours on the field without supervision
   
   
4. Applicant must be trustworthy and above all be able to take precise decisions on the field
   
   
5. Applicant must have a minimum of S.S.S.C.E, DBS, DIPLOMA or HND qualification in any social studies field.
